After the former region of South Ethiopia recognized as a new region through referendum, the remaining seven zones and three special woredas following the decision decided by the Federation Council started working as a region of Central Ethiopia.
At Central Ethiopia Region Public Health Institute, our mission is to promote health and well-being in our community through research, public health emergency management, and advocacy.
